Nelitza Gonzalez

Nelitza Gonzalez has extensive experience in the field of counseling and therapy. Nelitza most recently served as the Community-Based Clinical Director at Crossnore Communities for Children, a position they began in August 2021. Prior to that, Nelitza owned and operated New Bridge Counseling Services from July 2020 to May 2023, where they held multiple roles including LCMHC, LMFT, and AAMFT Approved Supervisor. From July 2015 to July 2020, they worked as a Child and Family Therapist / Lead Therapist at Crossnore School & Children’s Home. Nelitza also gained experience as an Outpatient Mental Health Counseling Intern at The Children's Home from January 2015 to April 2015.

Nelitza Gonzalez earned their Bachelor's degree in Multi-/Interdisciplinary Studies and Sociology from Winston-Salem State University, which they attended from 2008 to 2011. Following that, they pursued their MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where they graduated in 2015.
