Peter Berry

Peter Berry is an experienced professional in outdoor adventure programming and experiential education. Currently serving as the Miracle Heights Adventures Manager and Coordinator at Crossnore Communities for Children since April 2022, Peter focuses on providing team-building and adventure-based counseling services. Prior to this role, Peter was an Adjunct Professor and the Assistant Director of Outdoor Pursuits at Wake Forest University, where responsibilities included teaching courses and coordinating risk management for campus recreation. Peter has held various leadership positions at institutions such as Sweet Briar College, the University of Lynchburg, and Camp Powhatan, emphasizing training in technical skills, group facilitation, and program development. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with minors in Human Resource Management and History, as well as a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Lynchburg.
