Gillian Boyle (Mackay)

Gillian Boyle (Mackay) has extensive experience in scientific research and administration, currently serving as a part-time administrator and fundraising coordinator at CrossReach since February 2021. Previously, Gillian was the Head of Metabolomics at the Beatson Institute for Cancer Research from January 2012 to February 2020, where the Metabolomics facility was established to support cancer metabolism research. Prior to that role, Gillian worked as a Senior Bioanalytical Scientist at CXR Biosciences, overseeing pharmacokinetic studies, and served as a Senior Research Scientist at the University of Glasgow. Early in a career, Gillian was the Analytical Chemistry Manager and Food Research Scientist at United Biscuits. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow and a BSc (Hons) in Food Science from the University of Strathclyde.
