Amber Osman is an accomplished professional in the field of scholarly publishing and open science. Currently serving as an Associate Editor and Ambassador for DOAJ and Crossref respectively, Amber is deeply involved with various organizations, including as Co-Chair of the Global Perspectives Taskforce and a member of the Education Committee for the Society for Scholarly Publishing. Additional roles include membership in the FORCE11 Research Data Publishing Ethics group and the COPE Committee on Publication Ethics, as well as participation in the Creative Commons Global Network and its Program Committee. Formerly, Amber held positions at NASA as a Content Subject Matter Expert and at IQRA University as Senior Manager of Research Development. Amber holds an MBA in Marketing and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Iqra University, complemented by a background in Computer Sciences from The City School.
