Carlos del Ojo Elías

Carlos del Ojo Elías is an accomplished software developer with a diverse background in bioinformatics and systems management. Currently serving as a Software Developer at Crossref since August 2020, Carlos has previously held senior positions at JUXT and Aigenpulse, along with a role as a Bioinformatician at Oxford Nanopore Technologies Ltd. Notably, Carlos spent four years at the University of Oxford specializing in computational biosciences. Earlier experience includes research and development projects focused on online banking security at Barcelona Digital Technology Centre and esCERT-UPC, as well as managing grid infrastructures at i2CAT Foundation. Carlos holds a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Glasgow and an Engineering degree in Computer Science from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
