Martyn Rittman

Martyn Rittman is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product management and academic research. Currently serving as a Product Manager at Crossref since June 2020, Martyn previously held multiple roles at MDPI, including Publishing Services Manager, Chief Production Editor, and Editor from April 2013 to May 2020. Prior to that, Martyn worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate (PDRA) at the University of Freiburg, specializing in TIRF microscopy and microbiology from August 2011 to October 2012, and at the University of Reading from October 2008 to July 2011. Martyn began academic pursuits as a PhD student at the University of Warwick from September 2005 to March 2009.
