Mike Cohen - Clfp

Mike Cohen, CLFP, has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Currently, they are serving as the Chief Risk Officer at Crossroads Equipment Lease and Finance since October 2021. Prior to this, Mike held the position of Chief Credit Officer at Mitsubishi HC Capital (U.S.A.) Inc. from April 2016 to October 2021.

Before Mitsubishi HC Capital, Mike worked at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Equipment Finance Group as a Senior Credit Risk / Portfolio Manager from September 2012 to April 2016. Mike also gained experience as a Senior Credit Officer at Commercial Credit Group Inc. from May 2011 to September 2012.

In addition, Mike had a successful venture as the Owner of North Carolina Isshinryu Karate Kai from 2009 to 2011. Mike also served as the Director of Risk Management at VOLVO FINANCIAL SERVICES, the Fourth largest captive finance company in the US, from 2006 to 2009.

Furthermore, Mike held important positions at CITICAPITAL CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT FINANCE, including Senior Vice President and Business Credit Head from 2002 to 2006 and VP-Remediation Head in 2002. Mike served as Vice President at CITICAPITAL TRANSPORTATION EQUIPMENT FINANCE from January 1999 to January 2002.

Mike's early career involved working at Associates Commercial Corporation from 1992 to 1999, where they started as a Management Trainee and eventually became AVP International Risk. Prior to that, they worked as an Independent Sales Representative in the Home Furnishings Industry from 1986 to 1992.

Mike Cohen - CLFP completed their undergraduate education at Indiana University Bloomington from 1977 to 1981. Mike obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business during this period.
