While working for Credit Suisse | First Boston (CSFB) in 2002 as the Assistant Vice President of Global Media Services Technical Engineer, John Chin served as the project leader of the Global Media Engineering group. His group was responsible for supporting all of the business’s multimedia communication solutions for CSFB.
During his years at CSFB, John negotiated with global bureau audio conferencing services vendors to save an estimated $2 million annually (30-40%) from CSFB’s conferencing operating cost.
Prior to working at CSFB, he was the Senior CTI / Network Administrator Manager at Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette (DLJ) 1998 – 2000. John managed both the Communication Support Team that serviced all of DLJ’s communication needs and the Communication Technology Team that maintained and administrated various servers to support daily functions for DLJ’s Communication, Facilities and Multimedia departments.
During his year at DLJ he was responsible for implementing new business solutions, such as the Blackberry wireless email devices, Avaya unified messaging, Latitude in-house voice/data conferencing systems, and Polycom video streaming, for various business groups.
He also acted as the project leader of “Y2K Project”: Responsible for upgrading servers and client environments for DLJ’s departments.
John has over seven years experience as an IT specialist and a manager in both the financial and educational environment. As the President, Project Development
