Josh Hughes has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Josh started their career as a Network Technician at Purdue University, where they gained hands-on experience in configuring and installing Cisco-based networks. After this, they worked as a General Manager at Mancino's, where they successfully managed a fast-paced restaurant, overseeing staffing and procurement to ensure high-quality service.

Josh then joined Heartland Resources, Inc. as the Director of Information Technology, where they had a range of responsibilities, from technology decision-making to project management. Josh also obtained their Series 63 certification and taught a prep class for new agents.

Following this, they worked at Messer Construction Co., initially as a Senior Manager and later as a Director. In this role, they led enterprise-wide implementation projects, focusing on both applications and infrastructure. Josh played an active role in various areas, such as strategy, project management, budget creation, and professional development. Josh led multiple projects, including ERP selection and implementation, SharePoint implementation, and office migrations.

Most recently, they served as the Digital Operations Director at Crossroads Church, where they were responsible for managing digital operations.

Josh Hughes began their education at Purdue University in 1995, where they studied Management & Information Systems. Josh then transferred to Western Kentucky University in 1998 and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management & Information Systems in 2002. After working for several years, they decided to pursue further education and enrolled in Northern Kentucky University in 2011. Josh successfully completed their Master of Science degree in Business Informatics in 2018.
