During their time in the Navy, they gained experience in machining. In 2018, they joined Austal as a Class A Outside Machinist, where they worked for several months. Later that year, they worked as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic at Master Marine, Inc. until 2021. Most recently, in 2021, they took on the role of Chief Engineer at Crothall Laundry Services.
