Ira Shaw

Ira Shaw is a Senior Managing Director and co-leads the Partner Solutions investment program of Crow Holdings Capital, which provides customized liquidity solutions to property operators, real estate fund sponsors and institutional investors.

Ira joined CHC in 2021, with a tenured career in real estate investing and structured finance, having invested over $4 billion in direct and indirect real estate strategies. Prior to joining Crow Holdings Capital, Ira served as a Partner and member of the real estate investment committee at Landmark Partners. At Landmark, Ira helped lead the growth of the real estate secondaries platform, managed real estate investment resources, and structured and negotiated real estate secondary acquisitions and preferred equity financings. Prior to that, Ira was a member of the Direct Investments team at AEW Capital Management where he invested across property types and geographies on behalf of AEW’s core and value funds and accounts. Ira was also, previously, a Director in CIBC’s Asset Securitization Group, where he structured securitization transactions.

Ira received a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Haverford College and a Master of Business Administration from Yale University. Ira serves as board member and academic mentor for Boston Partners in Education.
