Wayne Mulligan

Co-Founder at Crowdability

Wayne Mulligan is currently the Co-Founder at Crowdability, a company that provides access to funding for startup companies. Prior to their current position, Wayne served as the CEO of the Institute for Individual Investors (formerly Tycoon Publishing) from November 2008 to June 2012. During their time as CEO, Wayne was successful in growing the company's subscriber base to almost 250,000 active newsletter readers. Wayne was also able to take the business from a loss to a multi-million dollar profit within 12 months.

In 2011, Wayne launched the world's first Adaptive Learning platform for investors - this proprietary online learning system became the cornerstone of the company's product line. That same year, they also structured a partnership and merger with the largest financial newsletter publisher in the world.

Before their time at the Institute for Individual Investors, Wayne served as the Founder and Managing Partner at Buttonwood Ventures. Wayne also served as the Founder & CEO of TickerHound.com from June 2007 to November 2008.

Wayne Mulligan's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Studies from Columbia University in the City of New York.
