James Ranger

James Ranger is a senior software engineer at Blackbaud since May 2018, specializing in full-stack development using .NET and Angular 2+ for grant application solutions. As a full-stack web developer at CrowdComfort since October 2016, James serves as the principal engineer for building management SaaS, responsible for planning, designing, and developing responsive web applications. Previous experience includes a role as a technical writing scientist at Thorlabs, where James managed technical marketing for over 20,000 scientific products, and an NSF Physics & Astronomy REU internship at Vanderbilt University, focusing on data analysis of gamma-ray counts. James holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Furman University and studied Spanish Language and Literature at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
