Opeyemi Awoyemi

Opeyemi Awoyemi is a Nigerian entrepreneur and investor. Opeyemi is the co-founder of Moneymie, a digital banking service for immigrants and global citizens, and a venture builder at Fast Forward Venture Studio, where they help to fund and co-build companies that are using technology to create new markets and unlock economic prosperity in Africa. Awoyemi is also a venture investor, investing directly in startups as an angel or through their investment firms VentureKinetics and Whogohost Ventures. In addition to their entrepreneurial and investment work, Awoyemi has also served as the head of jobs at ROAM (Ringier One Africa Media) and as an adjunct faculty member at the School of Media and Communication at Pan-Atlantic University in Lagos, Nigeria.

Opeyemi Awoyemi has completed two executive education programs: one from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, and one from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Both programs focused on innovation and growth strategies, and Awoyemi completed the Berkeley program in 2015.
