Matthew Bethell

Matthew Bethell has had a varied and impressive career in campaigning and policy. Matthew began their career in 2006 as a Consultant for Huge Entertainment and Digital Public. In 2007, they worked as a Researcher for The Office for Public Management and a Consultant for Huge Entertainment. In 2010, they were a Campaign Coordinator for Service Employee International Union 32BJ. In 2011, they became the Policy Director for the Office of New York State Senator Daniel Squadron. In 2014, they took on the role of Campaign Coordinator for John Biggs for Mayor of Tower Hamlets and Campaign Director for David Lammy for Mayor of London. From 2016 to 2017, they were the Communications and Campaigns Director for Bulb Energy, and from 2017 to present, they have been the Head of Campaigns for CrowdJustice.

Matthew Bethell obtained a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Columbia | SIPA in 2011, with a focus on Urban Social Policy and Communications. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Social and Political Science from the University of Cambridge in 2006.
