Prateek Kathal has been working in the software development industry since 2014. Prateek began their career as a Software Developer Intern at SquareBoat, where they worked on web technologies such as PHP, MySQL, and CodeIgniter. In 2016, they moved on to become a Web Developer Intern at RuddBuddy, where they provided support in the development of RuddBuddy.com using technologies such as AngularJS 1.0, JavaScript, and Bootstrap 3. Later that year, they became a Founder at SnapTimes.in, where they developed and launched a website to spread awareness about social issues and provide information about the latest and upcoming tech/gadgets. In 2017, Prateek became a Web Developer at Web Vertical Domains, where they worked with applications built on MongoDB, Express, NodeJS, and Angular 1 (MEAN Stack). In 2016, Prateek returned to SquareBoat as a Software Developer, where they were involved in software/app development using technologies such as PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap 3, CSS3, and HTML5. In 2018, they became a Lead Developer and then a Senior Full Stack Developer at Crowdlinker, where they developed the backend of a mobile application on Laravel 5.7. In 2020, Prateek founded Save Your Best Friend, where they are finding potential investors and partners to support the cause, as well as building a powerful website and app focused on creating an animal-friendly community.
Prateek Kathal completed their education history starting with their 10th Grade in 2006-2010 at Ryan Internation School, Rohini. Prateek then completed their 12th Grade at Ramjas School, Pusa Road in 2010-2012. After that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (B Tech) in Computer Science at Manav Rachna College Of Engineering from 2012-2016. Finally, they completed their Ontario Graduate Certificate in Web Design & Development at Lambton College from 2017-2019. Additionally, Prateek Kathal obtained three certifications from Amazon Web Services in 2018: AWS Business Professional Online (Released November 2016), AWS TCO and Cloud Economics Online, and AWS Technical Professional Online (Released November 2016).
