Arshdeep Sidhu has worked in a variety of roles since 2016. In that year, they worked as a Merchandiser for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated and as a Cashier for Tim Hortons. In 2017, they were a Software Developer Intern for TapLane Inc., where they worked on a mobile game using Unity and optimized the physics engine to run smoothly on mobile devices. In 2018, they were a Research Assistant and a Teaching Assistant at the University of Windsor, where they worked in a Bioinformatics lab researching ways to identify breast cancer and taught weekly labs about different topics correlating to the lectures. Also in 2018, they were a Software Developer Intern for Statistics Canada, where they were tasked with being the primary developer on the migration of a 2006 Census application. In 2020, they were a Software Developer at Statistics Canada, where they were a full stack developer on the CPS (Census Processing Systems) team, developing and maintaining multiple tools and applications on the Census processing pipeline. Arshdeep also worked as a Software Engineer Intern for Rocket Innovation Studios, where they were a full stack developer working in C#/. NET and Angular, and used terraforms and infrastructure as code to set up AWS architecture. Currently, they are a Software Developer at CrowdRiff, beginning in 2022.
Arshdeep Sidhu attended Vincent Massey Secondary School from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a High School/Secondary Diplomas and Certificates. Arshdeep then went on to the University of Windsor, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Honours Computer Science with Specialization in Software Engineering from 2016 to 2021. In February 2020, they also obtained a certification in Spring: Test-Driven Development with JUnit from LinkedIn.
