Augusto Peres

Augusto Peres has worked in various roles since 2012. In 2012, they worked as a Cashier at Wintergreen Resort, where they were responsible for selling lift and rental tickets for skiing. From 2015 to 2016, they were an IT Assistant at Perez Automação Ltda, where they programmed in Arduino and Visual Basic a separation mat and installed the Arduino and all other necessary circuit boards on a panel. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Manufacturing Engineer Intern at Eaton - Hydraulics Business, where they worked on a team project to develop a new data flux for the company's scrap and developed an Excel program with VBA to make it easier for the employees to input the production data. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Peer Tutor at Sheridan College, where they planned, prepared and lead one hour sessions weekly, and a Python Developer Research Assistant at Sheridan College. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Junior Web Developer Co-op and a Junior Web Developer and QA Analyst Co-op at Ontario Treasury Board Secretariat, where they were responsible for implementing new features as well as fixing existing bugs for any part of the website. From 2018 to 2020, they were a Co-op Developer at Hitgrab Games. Currently, they are a Developer Associate at TD and a Full Stack Developer at CrowdRiff.

Augusto Peres has a varied educational background. Augusto obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho between 2010 and 2016. In 2014, they were awarded a Scholarship (Ciências sem Fronteiras) from the University of Guelph in the same field. Between 2017 and 2019, they completed an Advanced Diploma in the Systems Analyst Co-op Program at Sheridan College. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including a Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Fundamentals in August 2021, a Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals in May 2021, a Black Belt Lean Six Sigma in November 2015, and a Scrum Foundation Professional Certificate in August 2020.
