Mark Robinson has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Mark began their career as a System Administrator at L'Oréal in 2006 and later moved on to a similar role at Codemasters in 2011. In 2013, they joined Capita as a Senior Server Administrator and worked there until 2015. Mark then pursued further education and graduated from the SANS Institute Cyber Academy in 2015.

In 2016, Mark Robinson joined GE Aviation as a Cyber Security Analyst and progressed to the role of Senior Incident Responder in 2017. Mark represented the NCSC Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) and was a member of the Aviation ISAC, where they presented on various topics. Mark also attended the CERT-EU conference in Brussels.

From 2018 onwards, Mark joined CrowdStrike, initially as a Security Analyst and later promoted to Senior Security Analyst. In 2021, they became a Principal Analyst. Mark Robinson attended The Manchester Metropolitan University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a BSc (Hons) degree in Computer & Network Technology. In 2015, they enrolled in the UK Cyber Academy at SANS Technology Institute.

Mark Robinson also holds several additional certifications, including the CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Hunter (CCFH) obtained in September 2023, the GIAC Reverse Engineering Malware (GREM) obtained in 2022, and the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) obtained in 2021. Mark also obtained the GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Forensics Examiner (GCFE), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), GIAC Defending Advanced Threats (GDAT), and ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (v3) certifications, obtained between 2013 and 2019.
