Rob Herzog

Rob Herzog has extensive work experience in cybersecurity and law enforcement. Rob is currently employed as the Principal Researcher at CrowdStrike's OverWatch R&D department since September 2022.

Prior to that, Rob worked at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for many years. Rob held various roles including Supervisory Special Agent - Cyber, FBI Cyber Advisor / CIA Detailee, Special Agent, Acting Assistant Legal Attache, and Supervisory Special Agent. In these positions, they were responsible for managing teams, implementing program strategies, ensuring legal compliance and risk management, conducting investigations, and collaborating with international intelligence services. Rob also received commendations and awards for their contributions, including the FBI Meritorious Service Award and the Attorney General's Award.

Before joining the FBI, Rob worked as the Director of New Media at Wabash College from 1997 to 2002.
