Supratik Samanta

Supratik Samanta is a Senior Software Engineering Manager at CrowdStrike since December 2020, focusing on the Cloud Workload Runtime Security product for Kubernetes and Containers. Prior to this role, Supratik served as a Software Engineering Manager at Cisco from August 2013 to December 2020, where responsibilities included managing a team to provide infrastructure for Docker container and VM applications, enabling zero-touch provisioning, and developing a new switching product for cloud management. Additional experience includes roles at Ericsson as a Software Engineer, working on a proprietary packet processor for routers, and at Cavium Inc. leading Ethernet and IPv4/IPv6 stack developments for multicore processors. Supratik holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Purdue University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
