Viswa Soubramanien

Viswa Soubramanien has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies. Viswa is currently working as the Vice President of Engineering at CrowdStrike since July 2019. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Engineering - AWS ElasticSearch at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from 2018 to 2019. From 2017 to 2018, they served as the Vice President of Engineering at RedLock.

Viswa's previous experience includes roles at CipherCloud as the Vice President of Engineering from 2015 to 2017 and as the Director of Engineering from 2013 to 2015. Before joining CipherCloud, they worked at Trend Micro as a Principal Architect from 2011 to 2013 and as a Sr. Staff Engineer from 2006 to 2010. At McAfee, they served as a Senior Software Development Manager from 2003 to 2006.

In the earlier stages of their career, Viswa worked as an Engineering Manager at Varros Telecom from 1999 to 2002, as an Analyst Programmer at DSQ Software Ltd. from 1997 to 1999, and as a Software Developer at Ragasutham Software Pvt. Ltd from 1995 to 1997.

Throughout their career, they have had diverse roles with responsibilities ranging from engineering leadership to architecture and development.

Viswa Soubramanien received a Certificate in Advance Project Management from Stanford University in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from Bharathidasan University from 1995 to 1997. Viswa also completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of Madras from 1992 to 1995. Viswa Soubramanien has additional certification in Advance Project Management from Stanford University.
