Alex Carswell, CPA, CA, has been a Partner at Crowe Soberman since October 2010, following a dual career as a Senior Manager and Manager within the Audit & Advisory Group. With experience at both a small firm in Ottawa and a mid-sized accounting firm in Toronto, Alex has developed a strong skill set in financial statement preparation, client relationship management, and mentoring junior staff members. Additionally, Alex serves as the Treasurer for Off Centre Music Salon and has held the position of Manager at EvansMartin LLP, where key contributions included enhancing audit engagement management and resolving complex accounting issues. Alex's industry expertise spans not-for-profit athletic associations, manufacturing, automotive, retail, pension plans, software development, and investments. Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Ottawa, earned in 2006.
