Product Engineering Lead Software Engineer II at Crowe

Barry Audsley has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Barry is currently working at Crowe as a Product Engineering Lead Software Engineer II since April 2023. Prior to that, they held the position of Sr. Software Developer at Crowe since July 2021.

Before joining Crowe, Barry worked at Advantage Solutions: Sales, Marketing, Technology as a Lead Software Engineer for almost five years from November 2016 to July 2021. In this role, they used various technologies such as C#, .NET, Angular, Node, RESTful Web API, and Microsoft technology stack to develop websites and systems for consumer goods manufacturers and retailers. Barry also took on lead and senior development responsibilities for multiple applications and projects.

Barry also gained experience at Compdata Surveys & Consulting as a Sr. Developer from December 2015 to November 2016. Here, they played a key role in creating a new website with advanced features to meet the business and customer needs.

Prior to that, they worked as a Programmer Consultant for Waddell and Reed at TEKsystems from April 2015 to December 2015. During this time, they developed web-based solutions using ASP.NET MVC Framework.

Barry began their career at Sprint in 2000 as an Application Support Analyst II, where they maintained and provided support for an internal software installation site. Barry later transitioned to the role of Software Engineer/Apps Developer II, where they supported and maintained an IT Dashboard solution and operated as the lead developer for the MDNP web solution.

Barry also gained early work experience through internships. In 1999, they worked as a Software Engineer Intern at NCS Pearson, and in 1998, they were a Technical Support Representative Intern, providing customer care and technical support for web-based financial aid software.

Throughout their career, Barry Audsley has demonstrated strong technical skills and leadership abilities in software development, web-based solutions, and project management.

Barry Audsley received their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Northwest Missouri State University, which they pursued from 1995 to 1999.
