Matt Bortis

Matt Bortis is a seasoned professional in state and local tax, currently serving as the State & Local Tax Senior Manager at Crowe since October 2013, with a history of progressive roles within the firm. Prior experience includes tenure as a Teaching Assistant for ACG 4111 Financial Accounting & Reporting II at the University of Florida and an internship in state and local tax at Crowe Horwath LLP. Earlier work experience includes a sales and customer service role at Daytona International Speedway. Matt Bortis holds a Master of Accounting with a focus on Taxation and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Florida, as well as an Associate of Arts in Finance from the University of Central Florida.
