Tamara Engel

Tamara Engel is currently serving as a Public Sector Strategy Senior Manager at Crowe, beginning in June 2025, where the focus is on implementing the new California State Payroll System for the California State Controller’s office. Prior to this role, Tamara was a Principal Consultant at Treinen Associates Inc. under the OneWa project for the Washington Office of Financial Management. Previous experience includes leadership positions at Launch Consulting Group, Gainwell Technologies, T Engel Consulting, M Corp, Eskel Porter Consulting, Deloitte, and Gartner Consulting, where significant accomplishments in project management, process improvement, and public health initiatives were achieved. Tamara holds an MBA in Business Administration from the University of California, Davis, and a BS in City and Regional Planning from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, as well as various other educational qualifications in gardening and sustainable practices.
