Andrew Denton

Andrew Denton is the current President at Crown College. Prior to this, they served as the Executive Vice President at North Central University from June 2015 to May 2021. In this role, they were responsible for providing visionary and innovative administrative leadership to the university, serving as Chief of Staff for over 75 staff members, and leading the Advancement, Business and Finance, Operations, Enrollment, Athletics, and Communications and University Marketing departments. Andrew also served on the University’s Senior Leadership Team, President’s Council, and Master Facility Planning Team.

During their time at North Central University, Andrew was instrumental in launching a new academic initiative called church academic partners. Andrew piloted the program in fall 2018 with great success, and then launched another ten churches in fall 2019 with over 50 students enrolled. Andrew also worked closely with the CFO on the budget process for over 30 million dollars annual budget, with the goal of having a balanced budget.

Andrew is a proven leader with a track record of success in driving donation and endowment assets. Andrew is also experienced in real-estate sale and acquisition, having provided executive leadership for campus master planning and real-estate transactions. In addition, they have provided strategic senior leadership and analysis to University President on all branding, communication, and marketing efforts. Under their guidance, Crown College is sure to thrive.

Andrew Denton has a Ph.D. in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration from Saint Louis University, an MBA in Management and Marketing from Missouri State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Marketing from Evangel University.
