Matthew Weiner

Matthew joined The Crown Estate in October 2022 as Head of Strategic Partnerships in the Regional Strategic Business Unit. Matthew leads the Mixed-Use Regeneration Team as he broaden the focus of the Regional business away from an income-focussed investment portfolio into projects which create long-term value and performance through the regenerative development of the communities. Matthew also has a role within the Investment Team in originating new opportunities for the business to build a pipeline of projects with scale and impact.

Matthew has over 30 years of transactional experience in investment and development, most recently as CEO of the listed property company, UandI Group Plc. Matthew is Co-Founder of The SoCo a London based developer and Chair of GS8, an emerging housebuilder focussed on sustainable homes.
