Doug Ackley is an experienced engineer with a background in mechanical engineering, holding a Bachelor of Science degree from North Dakota State University. Since July 2015, Doug has been employed as a Project Engineer at Crown Iron Works Inc. Prior to this role, experience includes working as a MWD Field Engineer at Halliburton from January 2012 to June 2015, where responsibilities included building, operating, and managing directional tools at drilling sites. Earlier experience consists of an internship as a Wheel Loader Design Engineer at CNH from June 2010 to December 2011, focusing on prototype parts procurement, layout design for automated systems, and engineering modifications.
