Mat Koppang

Mat Koppang is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and sales with extensive experience in technical sales and project management. Currently serving as Global Technical Sales Manager - Specialty and formerly as Pilot Plant Operations Manager and Project Engineer - Piloting at Crown Iron Works since January 2021, Koppang has a strong focus on optimizing processes and driving profitability. Prior experience includes roles at Kurita America Inc. as Sales Representative II and III, and at Nol-Tec Systems where responsibilities ranged from estimator to application and technical services engineer, contributing to air pollution compliance and feasibility studies. Koppang also completed internships at LHB and Sappi North America, focused on environmental engineering and safety compliance, while serving as a teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota. Koppang holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
