David Browning

David Browning has an extensive work experience in the field of tax and finance. David is currently working as the Global Head of Tax at Crown Resorts since October 2022. Before joining Crown Resorts, David worked at Deloitte as a Principal from May 2022 to October 2022. Prior to that, they were an Independent Consultant from May 2021 to May 2022.

David has also held various roles at Coca-Cola Amatil, starting as the Tax Counsel - International in March 1997. David later served as the Group Tax Counsel, Group Tax Counsel & Head of Corporate Finance, and Director of Group Strategy, Business Development and Tax. Their responsibilities included formulating group strategies, executing mergers and acquisitions, managing capital, and overseeing taxation affairs. David held these roles from 1997 to June 2021.

David has also served as a Non-Executive Director at Coex Services Pty Limited from 2018 to 2021 and at Doshii from 2019 to December 2020. Before their time at Deloitte, David worked as a Senior Taxation Manager at Arthur Andersen & Co. from January 1987 to March 1997.

David Browning completed a professional year program in Accounting and Finance at Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. David also earned a Diploma of Applied Finance from the Securities Institute. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Degree with a focus on Business/Commerce, General from Southern Cross University.
