Kate Squire

Kate Squire is an accomplished legal professional currently serving as General Counsel for Crown Resorts since February 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing legal matters for the Group Corporate and Crown Sydney. Previously, Kate worked as Special Counsel at Ashurst from October 2022 to February 2023. From March 2016 to August 2022, a tenure with the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment included positions such as Director of Place-Making & Parklands and Acting Executive Director & Deputy General Counsel for Property & Commercial. Prior experience also encompasses roles as Principal at Squire Legal, Senior Solicitor at the University of Sydney, and Solicitor at Herbert Smith Freehills. Kate holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Technology Sydney, obtained between 1997 and 2002.
