Hehui Luo

Hehui Luo is a highly experienced engineering professional with a strong background in machine learning systems and software development. Currently serving as a Staff ML Systems Engineer at Cruise since August 2024, Hehui previously held the position of Principal Engineer Team Lead at Motional, where responsibilities included leading the ML training platform team and overseeing the Data Compute Infrastructure team. With a notable history at various organizations, including Oracle Cloud Technologies and Amazon, Hehui has demonstrated expertise in building scalable ML infrastructures and has contributed significantly to projects involving parallel computation and data management. Hehui holds a Master's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Marquette University and another Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from Tianjin University.
