Jean Herelle is the Founder and CEO of Crunch Lab, a quant boutique established in May 2021 that assists large companies and financial institutions in maximizing the value derived from their data. Additionally, Jean co-founded CrunchDAO, a research community launched in December 2020, which fosters alpha-generating insights through distributed machine learning competitions and boasts over 5,000 data scientists and quants. Jean has served as a lecturer at Université Paris Dauphine - PSL and HEC Paris in 2023, and previously held roles as a quantitative researcher at DataCrunch and ASSURBACK, focusing on risk management and portfolio optimization. Jean's educational background includes a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from 42, an MSc in International Finance from Aix-Marseille Graduate School of Management - IAE, and a Bachelor's degree in International Economics from Aix-Marseille University.
