Rekha Khandhadia

Rekha Khandhadia has over 20 years of experience in the field of data solutions and database management. Rekha began their career in 1999 as a Database Administrator at WidiaValenite, Inc (Milacron). In this role, they developed data marts for various departments to help management analyze, project and predict the financial status of the company.

In 2002, they became a Database Manager at RouteOne.

In 2008, they joined BCBSM as a Technology Consultant. In this role, they provided technical leadership and solution architecture, and was responsible for decommissioning of multiple legacy systems and data migration to single data repository and single COTS application.

In 2018, they joined Crunchy Data as a Senior Data Solutions Architect. In this role, they played a critical client-facing role to enable Ford with PostgreSQL database-as-a-Service and Geospatial analytics initiative using Crunchy Data products. Rekha provided Solution architecture, database architecture, design, and other database-related professional consulting services to multiple Product Development teams at Ford. Rekha also collaborated and mentored different Ford PDO organizations on Data architecture, data modeling, query optimization and data integration.

Rekha Khandhadia has a strong educational background. Rekha obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Bombay between 1980 and 1983. Rekha then attended McGill University from 1983 to 1986, where they earned a MIS in Computer-based Information Systems. In addition, they have obtained three certifications from Coursera, including Mining Massive Datasets (2015), Developing Data Products (2015), and Practical Machine Learning (2014).
