Daniel Schorin

Daniel Schorin has a diverse range of work experience. Daniel is currently a Senior Data Scientist at Crunchyroll since June 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Sr. Data Scientist at Slated, Inc. from August 2021 to December 2022. From July 2019 to August 2021, they served as an Associate - Data and Analytics Modeler at KPMG. Daniel also has experience as a Software Developer at the University of Michigan from September 2018 to May 2019. During this time, they also worked as a Research and Learning Analytics Fellow, where they assisted in the development of data science pedagogy and taught students on Coursera. Additionally, they worked as a Programming and Analytics Laboratory Assistant in the field of informatics. Daniel gained industry experience as a Data Science Intern at MilliporeSigma, where they developed a database web application system and worked on a digital marketing adwords campaign. Daniel also founded and served as President of Pi Sigma Epsilon at the University of Michigan from December 2014 to January 2018. Other roles include a Machine Learning Engineer Intern at Quicken Loans, participation in a corporate strategy immersion program in China at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and leading an educational initiative within MHacks. Daniel also had a development internship at the University of Michigan, where they worked at the Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum.

Daniel Schorin obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information (BSI) with a focus on Information Analytics from the University of Michigan in 2019. Daniel also pursued a minor in Business from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications such as "Building Trust" from LinkedIn in August 2020 and "Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate" from Microsoft in June 2020.
