Jens-Uwe Welge

Jens-Uwe Welge has a diverse work experience in various management positions. Jens-Uwe started as the Head of Special Marketing at Ministry of Sound in 1998 and held that role for six years. Jens-Uwe then moved to NDR Media GmbH in 2004 as the Director of Licensing & Merchandising for two years. In 2006, they joined Studio Hamburg Distribution & Marketing GmbH (SHDM) as the General Manager, where they remained for five years. In 2012, they became the Managing Director at Studio Hamburg Enterprises GmbH for two years. Finally, in 2014, they joined Crunchyroll as the Vice President of Business Development & Sales, where they currently hold the position.

Jens-Uwe Welge completed their education in a chronological order as follows:

- From 1992 to 1994, they obtained a Diploma in Film and Television Production from Filmakademie Baden Württemberg.

- From 1994 to 1999, they pursued a Diploma in Media Management / Business Administration from Leuphana University of Lüneburg.

- Lastly, from 2011 to 2014, Jens-Uwe Welge earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in General Management, Digital Media Management, and Leadership from NYU Stern School of Business.
