Siobhan Akoto Sullivan

Siobhan Akoto Sullivan has a diverse range of work experience. Siobhan Akoto began their career as a Market Research Assistant at Performance Plus/Boston Field & Focus from April 2006 to May 2008. Siobhan Akoto then worked as a Peer Tutor at Boston University from September 2006 to May 2008.

In September 2008, Siobhan joined ALTIA CENTRAL as an Assistant Language Teacher. Siobhan Akoto supervised 700 students of various levels and coordinated lessons with homeroom teachers using Japanese language skills. Siobhan Akoto created curricula integrating English language topics with students' other subjects to enhance their understanding and interest in English. Siobhan Akoto worked in this role until March 2011.

From March 2011 to March 2012, they worked as an English Instructor and Acting Coach at Model Language Studio.

In January 2015, Siobhan became a Digital Media Planner/Buyer at Viewstream, where they worked until December 2016.

In September 2012, they co-founded a fashion blog called Remotely Fashion and held the role of Fashion Blogger and Web Developer until September 2017. Siobhan Akoto was recognized for their contributions in the fashion industry, like being a guest speaker at London Fashion Weekend and winning the Clothes Show Live Fashion Blogger of the Year Award in 2013. Siobhan Akoto collaborated with prominent online retailers and managed the front-end development of the website.

Since January 2017, Siobhan has been employed at Crunchyroll, initially as a Global Social Media Strategist until April 2018, then as a Manager of Global Social Media from April 2018 to March 2019. Siobhan Akoto was later promoted to Senior Manager of Global Social Media from March 2019 to January 2021. Siobhan Akoto then became the Director of Global Community Marketing from January 2021 to June 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Director of Audience Development.

Siobhan Akoto Sullivan obtained their High School Diploma from Robert E. Lee High School between the years 2000 and 2004. Siobhan Akoto then pursued higher education at Boston University, where they graduated cum laude in 2008 with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, with a focus on Japanese Language & Literature.
