Jonathan Ferrand

Jonathan Ferrand is a Chief Scientific Officer at Crux Biolabs with a background in cellular biology and pathophysiology. Previously, Jonathan held various roles at 360biolabs and the Hudson Institute of Medical Research, where Jonathan focused on understanding innate immunity mechanisms and bacterial infections. With a Ph.D. in Cellular Biology and Pathophysiology, their expertise lies in gastric inflammation, cancer, and microbiology. During their tenure as a Ph.D. student at INSERM, Jonathan investigated the role of mesenchymal stem cells in gastric cancer initiation. Additionally, Jonathan worked as an independent consultant developing assays related to bacterial infection and food pathogen detection.
