Amanda Russo

Amanda Russo has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in communications and analysis. Amanda is currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Crypto Council for Innovation since 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at the World Economic Forum, including Head of Media Content from 2019 to 2022, and Public Engagement Lead from 2017 to 2019. Amanda also worked at IHS, where they held roles such as Senior Manager - Corporate Communications from 2015 to 2017, Manager - Corporate Communications - EMEA from 2013 to 2015, and Corporate Communications Specialist - EMEA from 2013 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Corporate Communications at Exclusive Analysis from 2011 to 2013, and the Head of US Terrorism and Political Analysis from 2010 to 2011. Amanda also worked as a Terrorism Analyst - North America from 2009 to 2010. Prior to that, Amanda worked as a Terrorism Analyst at The Risk Advisory Group from 2008 to 2009.

Amanda Russo has a MSc in Comparative Politics: Conflict Studies from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Amanda also has a BA in Political Science and English Literature from Boston College. Amanda spent a study abroad year at the University of Oxford, focusing on Political Science and English Literature. In 2019, they obtained a Certificate in Systems Leadership from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
