Bruno Couillard

Bruno Couillard is the co-founder and chief executive officer of Crypto4A Technologies Inc., where they lead work in cybersecurity and quantum cryptography. From 1994 to 2003, they were co-founder, CTO and VP of Engineering at Chrysalis-ITS, guiding the Luna product family (including Luna2, LunaCA3, and LunaSA) and collaborating with Netscape and RSA Labs on the PKCS#11 cryptographic module API. Earlier, they worked as a Security Engineer with the Department of National Defence (1988–1992) and as a Cryptographic Evaluation Engineer with Communications Security Establishment (CSE) (1992–1994). They also led BC5 Consulting as President & CTO from 2003 to 2017 and have served on the Board of Directors for Quantum Industry Canada since 2019, with Crypto4A Technologies as CEO since 2023. Bruno Couillard studied Electrical Engineering at the Royal Military College of Canada (1983–1987).
