Catarina Veloso

Catarina Veloso is an experienced professional in the fields of regulatory compliance and legal counsel, currently serving as Co-chair of the Travel Rule Working Group at CryptoUK since July 2023. Catarina has held the position of Regulatory & Compliance Senior Associate and Legal Engineer at Notabene since September 2021, and was a member of the European Banking Authority's Technical Expert Group on crypto assets service providers and AML/CTF from December 2022 to February 2023. Previous roles include Head of Legal and Associate Legal Counsel at Fractal, along with serving as Co-chair of the Identity Working Group at INATBA and various legal positions at Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados. Catarina's educational background includes a Master of Business Law in European and International Energy Law from Technische Universität Berlin and a Bachelor's degree in Law from Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
