Raghunadha Kotha

Raghunadha Kotha has worked in the Information Security field since 1997. In 1997, they were an Architect at Symbol Technologies, where they designed the entire architecture for the Network Management Console (NMC). From 1999 to 2001, they worked as a Senior Engineering Manager at Bell Labs, where they managed the project management activities of the organization, Blades System Data Object architecture and development, Network Device configuration architecture, Automated Network design engine architecture, and more. In 2001, they became the VP of Engineering at Netliant, where they were responsible for managing a team of engineers, budget and project release cycles. In 2002, they founded Tulasi Solutions and Vernier Networks, where they were involved in designing of IPS system and integrating with security applications based on Vulnerability scans, Patch Management into the IPS and access control system. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as the Director of Enterprise Security Architecture at Stalwart, where they were responsible for providing strategic design for sustainable, effective and efficient information security solutions for clients. From 2017 to 2020, they were the Director of Security Engineering, Operations, Innovation and Excellence at Red Ventures, where they created a security roadmap based on the company objectives, legal and compliance requirements, and threat landscape. Currently, they are the Head of Information Security and Strategic Enablement at Newport Group, where they provide leadership and oversight for security operations, security architecture, incident management, cyber threat intelligence, pen testing, digital forensics, security tool automation, vulnerability management, enterprise data minimization, security tools, security design architecture, and threat simulations.

Raghunadha Kotha has a Master's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. In addition, they hold certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cloud Security Alliance, (ISC)2, Cisco, EC-Council, FireEye, Inc., AXELOS Global Best Practice, McAfee, Microsoft, Paloalto Networks, Inc, and SANS Institute. Raghunadha obtained their AWS Certified Security Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2020.
