John Henkels

John Henkels has extensive experience in horticulture and grounds operations. John is currently the Vice President of Grounds Operations at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Art and Wellness Enterprises. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Horticulture at Universal Studios Hollywood from 2016 to 2021 and as the Horticulture Manager at Disneyland Resort from 2004 to 2016.

John Henkels attended California State Polytechnic University-Pomona from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Horticulture with a focus on Ornamental Horticulture. In addition to their degree, John Henkels has obtained certifications including a Landscape Irrigation Auditor certification from the Irrigation Association and a Qualified Applicator License from the California Department of Pesticide Regulation.
