Lucas Magder is a highly experienced graphics engineer with a strong background in rendering and engine development. Currently serving as Principal Graphics Engineer at Crystal Dynamics since October 2017, Lucas contributed to the successful shipping of Marvel's Avengers. Previously, Lucas held the position of Senior Graphics Engineer at NVIDIA, where responsibilities included creating technology demos and prototyping rendering technologies from January 2010 to October 2017. Earlier experience includes a role at Cryptic Studios as a Computer Systems Analyst/Software Engineer, focusing on graphics for Champions Online and Star Trek Online, and multiple internships at NVIDIA in various roles related to demo engineering and 3D tools. Lucas began a career at Microsoft as a .NET Evangelism Team Assistant. Lucas earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Honours Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo in 2009.
