Dr. Monica Gilbert, a Licensed Psychologist, has a diverse work experience. Dr. Monica Gilbert is currently working as a part-time instructor at the University of Miami. In 2010, they founded CRYSTAL MINDS NEW BEGINNING INC. and remains in that role. Dr. Monica Gilbert also serves as a board member for The de Moya Foundation since 2020. In 2018, Dr. Gilbert founded CRYSTAL MINDS PSYCHOLOGICAL SERVICES and holds the position of Founding President. Dr. Monica Gilbert has also worked as an adjunct professor at Albizu University - Miami Campus from 2014 to 2020. Additionally, they have served as a committee member for the Southern Region Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Local Review Committee (LRC) from 2015 to 2018. Dr. Gilbert was the regional coordinator for Miami Dade at TeamPBS from 2012 to 2015. Dr. Monica Gilbert has held behavior analyst positions at Applied Behavior Solutions from 2010 to 2014, Progressive Behavioral Science from 2010 to 2012, and The MENTOR Network from 2009 to 2011.
Dr. Monica Gilbert, a licensed psychologist, obtained their Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, PsyD from Albizu University - Miami Campus from 2012 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Psychology from the same institution from 2012 to 2014. Earlier, they pursued adjunct courses in Applied Behavior Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2011. In addition, Monica completed a Master's Degree in Education with a Mental Health Counseling track at Florida International University from 2009 to 2011. Dr. Monica Gilbert'sundergraduate studies were focused on Psychology, which they completed at Florida International University from 2003 to 2007.

"We provide interactive in-home and center-based ABA therapy and mental health services in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties, Florida. Our goal is to improve the quality of life of children, adolescents, and adults by reshaping their behaviors & teaching them new skills to help them adapt well to daily living, at home, at school, & out in the world. With ABA and other therapy we address an issues including fine & gross motor skills, picky eating, attention & focus, verbal communication and social skills, academic skills through self-management, and personal self-care such as hygiene, toiling, & dressing. In this way we change the lives of people with Autism (ASD), ADD and ADHD, DownSyndrome, and other neuropsychological & behavioral problem."
