Shawn Edie has a diverse range of work experience spanning different industries. Shawn started their career at WAL-MART STORES USA LTD, where they worked as an Assistant Store Manager for over a decade. In this role, they supervised daily operations, managed payroll, and maintained inventory control.
Shawn then joined Four Winns Inc as a CNC Router/Gerber Programmer/Operator/Designer, where they utilized their creative and critical thinking skills to design and program effective part solutions for engineering projects. Shawn also collaborated with production to ensure successful project completion.
Following their time at Four Winns Inc, Shawn worked at Four Winns Boats as a System Administrator. Shawn was responsible for managing various technological equipment such as phones, computers, servers, and networks. Additionally, they served as a Project Manager for a new Time and Attendance System.
Shawn later joined Baker College as an Adjunct Faculty member, where they shared their expertise with students in the field of IT. Shawn taught various IT-related subjects until 2010.
From 2010 to 2018, Shawn worked at Safety Net in different managerial roles. As a Support Services Manager, they ensured high levels of customer service and monitored SLA metrics. Later, as a Centralized Services Manager, they focused on employee development and ensured proactive tools were implemented for clients.
Currently, Shawn is employed at Crystal Mountain as the Director of Information Technology. Shawn previously held the positions of IT Manager and IT Network Administrator. Shawn is responsible for overseeing the organization's IT operations and ensuring the smooth functioning of technology systems.
Shawn Edie has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Baker College of Cadillac, which they obtained between the years 2002 and 2007. Prior to that, they earned an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Computer Programming from Vincennes University between 1985 and 1987. In addition to their formal education, Shawn Edie has also obtained several certifications, including Dale Carnegie Training, ITIL Foundation, MCSA Enterprise 2008R2, and Windows 7 Administration, all from recognized institutions such as Dale Carnegie Training and Microsoft.
