Batool Zia

Batool Zia is a Mechanical Engineer with extensive experience in engineering roles across various organizations. Currently employed at Crystal Window & Door Systems, Ltd. since July 2014, Batool specializes in configuring new window setups, verifying BOM in V6 software, and coordinating with the R&D team for design changes. Prior experience includes an internship at Air Techniques Inc. focused on testing digital products and identifying malfunctions, summer intern work at GE designing ventilation systems, and a design engineer role at Basaran Grinder Corp. Additionally, Batool served as Assistant Manager at SUPARCO, interpreting radiography reports and developing non-destructive testing procedures. Batool began the engineering career as an engineering trainee at Ghandhara Nissan, being the first female trainee engineer on the assembly line in Pakistan. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Stony Brook University and another Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Taxila.
