Serghei Glinca

Serghei Glinca has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Serghei is the Founder and CEO of CrystalsFirst GmbH, a company that focuses on delivering rapid insights into protein-ligand interactions for drug discovery. Serghei is also a Co-Founder of DEEP Ecosystems, a startup they helped establish. Serghei is actively involved in the entrepreneurial and startup ecosystem, serving as a Podcast Host for founders in biotech and a Marburg Chapter Director for Startup Grind, a global community that mentors entrepreneurs. Serghei is a Startup Mentor at Max-Planck-Innovation GmbH and has documented their own startup journey through StartupLife. Previously, they worked as a Pharmacist and Freelance Consultant, as well as the Managing Director of Wettstein-Pharmacy for GaleniCare Management SA. Serghei's academic background includes a PhD Thesis at the Klebe Lab of The Philipp University of Marburg.

Serghei Glinca obtained a Bachelor's degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from The Philipp University of Marburg in 2008. Serghei then pursued further education and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics and Drug Design from the same university in 2012. In 2014, Serghei attended La Salle University, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In November 2019, they also received a certification in Advanced Business Development from the EBD Academy at Informa.
