Pätris Halapuu is the CEO and Co-Founder of Crystalspace, a role held since October 2013. Prior to that, Pätris served in various capacities at Glia (formerly SaleMove) from April 2015 to December 2024, including Product Manager, Enablement & Operations, Client Engineer Manager, Client Engineering Lead, and Service Engineer. Responsibilities included building systems and training materials, overseeing the growth and strategic direction of the Client Engineering team, and developing web applications. Pätris gained experience as a Research Assistant at the University of Tartu from November 2011 to January 2015, focusing on web applications and mobile development, and as a Microsoft Student Partner before pursuing a Master's in Software Engineering at the University of Tartu. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor's in Computer Science and a Master's in Engineering, both from the University of Tartu.
